As an amatuer racer, I have a love for grass roots motorsports, places where a guy with a hundred bucks in his pocket can fullfill a need for speed, and indulge in Walter Mitty fantasies.

Short track is uniquely American form of motorsport. On any given weekend during the summer there are thousands of these little mom and pop racetracks where you can run what ya brung, have a hot dog, and touch the Gods of velocity.
