Fortune, Detroit Auto Show Ford Cobra

Over the past five years I've done an annual cover story for Fortune on new models released at the Detroit Auto Show (all of the cars shot on black).

The shoots are extremely difficult because we shoot all of the cars on the floor of the convention center with the show in full swing. We build the full studio and black set around each of the cars on site. People attending the convention are incredibly oblivious and literally walk into the set as we're shooting to open doors, sit in cars and generally oggle without seeming to notice an entire photo shoot going on. It's amazing.
