BMW for Stuff Magazine

Of all the specialties I have developed over my career, none have been more "accidental" than my career as an automotive photographer.

I loved cars and used to race a crappy little Renault ocassionally, but had never thought about shooting them professionally. I was specializing in interior design and architectural photography at the time when a photo editor at HG heard of my passion for anything fast and gave me an assignment to shoot five cars for a feature story. Though I had no experience, I aced the assignment, and had a great time doing it. The next thing I knew I was shooting a monthly car column for Vogue.

I've probably photographed over 300 cars by now and I've enjoyed every one of them.
